I saw a rare sunny day in the winter and started tinkering with the telescope... This time, I tried to get more zoom out of it. This footage is using 2x teleconverter. I tried to get a 3x barlow lens to work, but, the footage had a bit of tunnel vision to it. It looked awful so I settled for something slightly better

This is my 1st telescopic footage. Previous footages were using super telephoto lens and spotting scope.

Using the EQ Mount, you could clearly see the moon moving in the FOV ("Field of View"). It was fun learning how to use RA ("Right Ascension" or terrestrial longitude), and DEC ("declination" or astronomy's geographical latitude) values. I could have gone for a go-to computerized telescope, but, this one made me learn more. Some of the key lessons I learned include setting up the telescope facing north, estimating or calculating the path of an object whether it be moon, star, or anything else, making sure the scope and tripod are leveled so that the measurement is not off.

I wanted to find out the pros and cons on this lens and didn't find enough web footage. After the 2200mm the lens shook a lot. It was challenging with mono-pod today, and will use a good tripod next time. Thanks to my neighbors for being kind and understanding when I shot the footages.

I made some correction in description. There was an additional 2x-teleconverter attached between the lens and t-mount adapter. So it's actually double the measurement of what I wrote previously.
