Food policy documentaries like "Fed Up" and "Supersize Me" have reached the top of the charts. Professor Marion Nestle is one notable food & nutrition expert featured in those documentaries, and she volunteered her time to KFAI to educate listeners on the most current issues of the American food system. Here is the KFAI radio interview of Professor Marion Nestle by Rashi Mangalick.
The biography below is pulled from Professor Marion Nestle's website.
About Marion Nestle

Palbasha's musical background needs no introduction. When she was 17, she managed to be the rockstar vocalist for Matt Harding's internet sensation "Where the Hell is Matt?" (http://bit.ly/1lYQTsW). She didn't stop there... During her academic years at the University of Minnesota, she sang theme songs for feature films in Bangladesh. After her graduation, she went back to bangladesh to release albums and stayed involved with the music scene there.
In this clip, Vikram Singh interviews her after we play Tushar Ahmed & Runa Laila's music. You'll hear Palbasha perform a cover version of Rabindranath Tagore aka Robindronath Thakur. The name of the song is "Tomar Khola Hawa". After that she performed "Jante Chao Jodi" song. Also, you'll see some behind the scene activities at the radio program that the outside listener doesn't get to hear or see. We made inside jokes related to the concert composition, and arrangement. It was fun all around! We are happy to showcase how fun radio activities can be.
Here is a link to wikipedia entry on her:
